    I had a chat with the chappie on this barge (I had never seen barges before!) - interesting lifestyle!! .. all the comforts of home!

    P's uncle used to have shares in one near Norwich (I think!) and he begged us to go on a trip with him. We didn't and now he has sold his share :( - how I wish we had taken him up on the offer! It looks like so much fun! And what quality of life!!

    I must admit:
    A Vacation on the Channels are the very best one can have.
    Can one find something more relaxing?

    I did go on the Channels in Germany, Holland, Belgium, France and even up to Switzerland back in 1965.

    Thanks for the good memories, even though i have never enjoying the wonderful channels of England.
