lucky you!! I'm so excited for you :)
oooohhh!!! Lucky you!!!! Lovely!!! I've been there twice and I would LOVE to go there again, it's such a beautiful country and the people are wonderful. I'm GREEN with envy, LOL!!!! Just make sure you make lots and lots of pictures there, but that's not going to be hard, there is a postcard on every turn of the winding roads there!!!
HOW EXCITING FOR YOU AND HUBBY...have never been to Ireland, both my grandparents where born there, surname HYLAND - Patrick Hyland, how more irish can one get - my mom and sister have visited. So enjoy and take many photo's for us. when are you planning to go over, summer time I hope??
I think I would prefer the Lumix. My hubs has a Canon something or other too, I think it's a 40D DSLR, but that's way too heavy to carry around all day when you're on holiday. I have tried it this week, but that doesn't work for me. It doesn't work for him either, he hardly takes any pictures at all, he leaves that all up to me!! The 12x zoom on your Lumix is nice too. My new one is indeed going to be a little upgrade, there's a better sensor, ( whatever that may mean, but anyway, BETTER is better, huh?) and it has a 20x zoom instead of the twelve I had on the camera I drowned! (My first point and shoot only had a 3x zoom!) But if the little one fits in your handbag, I would take it with me as well. It does not weigh that much, and you'd have a back up, wouldn't you? In any case STAY AWAY from ditches!!! LOL!
Congratulations!! I can't wait to see your photos and here all about your trip to Ireland
That is going to be wonderful. I had a lovely, although wet, visit to Ireland about two years ago. The best moment was a trip to the Aran Isles. Do try and fit that in!
I am so absolutely freekin jealous its just not funny. Wow! What a great trip. You better not forget the camera at home or ...
Do you need a photographer to trail your every move? ;-)
