The other day we saw this formation from my kitchen door ... he said it was a smiley face .. I said a smiley frog ...
... but within minutes it changed .... to a flying saucer/wide-brimmed sun hat/single engined plane ....
.... and whizzed away/blew away in a gust of wind/coming closer to land ... or could it be an eagle (as my daughter, Elaine, sees) flying straight towards her ?!!

Great imagination, children just inspire us sometimes. There were some quick changes in those clouds.
ReplyDeleteWell spotted! I love looking for shapes in clouds, must make time to look more often.
ReplyDeleteInteresting thoughts on the clouds formation. That is very creative of you. :D
ReplyDeleteI think it looks to me like a smiley.

You are raising your grandson well. It is good to look up every now and then to see what's there. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteI can also see a stingray!...What a coincidence...I just posted a cat in the clouds!
ReplyDeleteNice story behind these simple clouds! Children always have such different imaginations at times! I see a frog in the first, and a long thin boat with a sail in the third.
ReplyDeleteFun post and beautiful skies..
ReplyDeletethat was my favorite thing to do when I was small...lay on the ground and look at the clouds...deciding what the shapes were...did it with my kiddos too...hopefully someday with grandchildren...have a great weekend
ReplyDeleteDontcha just love how one image can have so many lookalikes in the clouds. Fabulous
ReplyDeleteSeems like you've all had fun with these clouds. And it's lovely just to take time and watch them change.
ReplyDeleteI remember how we watched the clouds as kids guessing what it was. My kids are slowly getting there.
