  2. oooohhh!!! Lucky you!!!! Lovely!!!
I've been there twice and I would LOVE to go there again, it's such a beautiful country and the people are wonderful. I'm GREEN with envy, LOL!!!! Just make sure you make lots and lots of pictures there, but that's not going to be hard, there is a postcard on every turn of the winding roads there!!!

  4. I think I would prefer the Lumix. My hubs has a Canon something or other too, I think it's a 40D DSLR, but that's way too heavy to carry around all day when you're on holiday. I have tried it this week, but that doesn't work for me. It doesn't work for him either, he hardly takes any pictures at all, he leaves that all up to me!! The 12x zoom on your Lumix is nice too. My new one is indeed going to be a little upgrade, there's a better sensor, ( whatever that may mean, but anyway, BETTER is better, huh?) and it has a 20x zoom instead of the twelve I had on the camera I drowned!
(My first point and shoot only had a 3x zoom!)

But if the little one fits in your handbag, I would take it with me as well. It does not weigh that much, and you'd have a back up, wouldn't you? In any case STAY AWAY from ditches!!! LOL!

  6. That is going to be wonderful. I had a lovely, although wet, visit to Ireland about two years ago. The best moment was a trip to the Aran Isles. Do try and fit that in!
