Skywatch Friday : Smiley face, frog or flying saucer?

Discussions between Bradley (my six year old grandson) and I about shapes of clouds are frequent ie dragons, spiders, monsters, ducks etc.

The other day we saw this formation from my kitchen door ... he said it was a smiley face .. I said a smiley frog ...
... but within minutes it changed .... to a flying saucer/wide-brimmed sun hat/single engined plane ....

... revved it's engines/caught by the wind/coming into land ...

.... and whizzed away/blew away in a gust of wind/coming closer to land ... or could it be an eagle (as my daughter, Elaine, sees) flying straight towards her ?!!

  1. Great imagination, children just inspire us sometimes. There were some quick changes in those clouds.

  6. Nice story behind these simple clouds! Children always have such different imaginations at times! I see a frog in the first, and a long thin boat with a sail in the third.

  11. I remember how we watched the clouds as kids guessing what it was. My kids are slowly getting there.
