Wordless Wednesday : 'Eye' see you

Need to add a few words here -

I asked Bradley what he thought this one (photo below) looked like to him ...

answer .... "a cross face" !!!

I couldn't see it right away until he explained .... he said the eyes are screwed up ... the big nose in the middle .. and the mouth 'upside down because he's cross' !!

Then I asked Connor ..... his answer .... "tree" !!!!

Erin is turning 2 ...

... next week on the 8th (she was a special delivery from the Easter Bunny two years arriving on Easter Sunday!) and shares her birthday with her little cousin Joshua who was born last year so she had her birthday party a little ahead of schedule so that he can have a special First birthday next weekend.

She was not a happy 'camper' when it came to blowing-out-the-special-2-candle time ...

"Please blow out your special candle ... just for mommy" (the wind blew it out but Nicole was really trying to get her to blow it out) .....

.... and then along came Bradley and Connor and did the honours for her !

Well, at least this cupcake is yummy !! (which she ate then fell asleep !)

Before the blowing-out-the-special-2-candle ceremony she had loads of fun on the jumping castle .. here she is with Joshua who was loving every minute ...

The boys having a chat with Dumbledore through the back garden gate. Carl and Nicole have Jack Russells and two of the most adorably huge Great Danes ... the oldest one being 8 year old Dumbledore who was dying to come and join the party - not really wise as, even though he wouldn't hurt a fly, his size alone scares people a little, no matter what their age!

He is a gentle giant ....

"Here he is doing a 'face block' and if you look carefully you can see that big man looking at B'adley - Nan says he is the examiner ! Nan said B'adley did so well with all his 'things' he had to do ....

"Ooops .... Nan caught me phoning mommy ....

"On Saturday we all went to my cousin's birthday party. Her name is Erin and she had her party because she is turning 2 !!! There were balloons ....

"Erin also has two other cousins ... CJ loves her baby brother .. Nan says he's such cutie pie ..

"My aunty and uncle have lots of dogs but the oldest one is Dumbledore - he is a Great Dane and is 8 years old .... he is bigger than me .. he is HUGE !!

CST, Garmin and leaves ..

I was going to do a post on a fascinating physio treatment that Elaine is having for her jaw, called Craniosacral Therapy ....

... and I was going to tell you about two visitors to this country who have a hired car with a Garmin 'thingie-to-find-your-way-around' which, when put in an instruction to go the airport from Sandton ... sent them through Alexandra early hours of a morning - which is not the safest place\suburb\township to go through! .... and then this Garmen 'thingie' did exactly the same late one night on their return - from airport back to Sandton! .... the mind boggles! How many more tourists are put at risk because of this 'thing' !!!!

... I am waiting for aformentioned daughter to phone back as she has left something important at home and I may have to traipse all the way into town\Joburg city centre to give it to her ... !!

... so will 'leave' you with these photos I took yesterday ....

Sshh! - don't tell mommy we did all this - probably not the best thing to do with Connor being sick with tonsilitis, ear and eye infection !!! Bad Granny\Nan! Kim sent me a link to a

Yay - Elaine phoned back and I don't have to make the trip into town! ...

but I need to go to a toy shop to find more paints for the boys ... with both of them digging into it yesterday there's hardly any colours left ....

... so you see ... I'm not all bad ... !!

... and I also need to add to Erin's prezzie .... our little Erin is turning 2 soon but her party is on Saturday. Have already got some nursery rhyme books and CD's for her as she doesn't have many ... and I have so many for the boys ... baskets of books as well as CD's for the house and for the car! Need to keep their little minds occupied!!! My son also said that she doesn't have a Barney DVD yet .... well, now she has!! ... shall go and see if there is something else 'girlie' for her ....

Gorilla in our midst .....

As mentioned in previous post, Jeanette and I were trying to get good photos of the boys - especially Connor to put in a family frame for MIL -and generally just to have at least one decent photo!

Connor thought differently .... "let me think .. what shall I do for Mommy and Nan ... ummmm!
